StorTite reaches the shores of Egypt!Elbowroom is not new to export, with many years of product supply to close Australian neighbours like Papua New Guinea & New Zealand. Our first far away project in 2002 took our Australian made products to Cairo, Egypt. This project was a technology first for Australian export. Elbowroom, together with its supplier partners, designed and installed the first electrically operated (E/O) computerised Compactus unit, to be interfaced with the customer’s desktop computer. The installation was performed in Cairo by Elbowroom’s Managing Directors, Mark Althaus and Mick Blackwell. Whilst there, they were able to connect the Compactus—via modem—to technicians in Sydney to effect necessary program changes. Several more contracts have been undertaken in this region as a result of this ground breaking mission.
