Pallet Live Storage (PLS)

PLS Option 1 - Pallet Gravity Flow

Pallet Gravity Flow is a very cost efficient system ideal for First-In First-Out (FIFO) application. PLS systems like Colby Palletflo, offer many benefits including dense storage, automatic stock rotation, faster handling, and simplified pallet selection.

Pallets are stored on inclined tracks with rollers, which support and enable the pallet to roll to the front of the storage system. When one pallet is removed, the one immediately behind it gently rolls into position followed by the other behind it, ensuring automatic stock rotation.

Pallet Live Storage (PLS)

PLS Option 2 - Push Back Pallet Rack

Push Back pallet rack provides dense storage with front loading/unloading operation. Pallets are stored 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 deep. Using a forklift, pallets are placed onto specially designed concertina  trolley system and inturn are pushed back on inclined rails mounted inside the racking structure.

As a pallet is withdrawn, the pallet behind automatically slides to the front position. Push Back Rack provides similar storage density to Drive In Pallet Racking, but with greater selectivity.
